The Women's Ministry at First Baptist Plano exists to connect, encourage, and equip women of all ages and backgrounds to live out their faith as they participate in, and support the work of the church in welcoming and discipling all people to faith in Jesus Christ.

Upcoming Event

The Women’s Ministry at First Baptist Plano is rebooting in 2023 with a focus on discipleship, fellowship, and service. We'd love for women of all ages to join us on Sunday, January 22, at 4 PM for cookies & conversations about the "She Matters" at First Baptist Plano.

Bring your favorite cookie to share and join in the fun. Hope to see you there!

Ways to get involved

Ladies Bible Study

Please join us for a ten-week study called “God of Deliverance” by Jen Wilkin.  We will walk together through the first 18 chapters of Exodus and learn how the God who delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt continues to deliver us from bondage to sin today.

Our Thursday morning class will begin on January 12 from 9:30-11:30 am.  This semester we are excited to also offer a Sunday evening class beginning January 15 from 5:00-6:30 pm.  Books will be available for purchase on the first day of each class for $20 each.

When we meet that first day, we will distribute books, update contact information, and get to know each other better.  We will then view the first video teaching of the series.  Since this is a video-driven study, we will meet each following week in small groups to discuss the homework.  Then we will gather in large group for the video.

Feel free to invite friends, neighbors, or any other women you know who would like to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible and join a wonderful and supportive group of women.

If you have any questions about Thursday Morning Bible Study, please email me at

MOPS {for Mothers of Preschoolers to Preteens}

At MOPS, women gather and support other moms.  They believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together.  Every mama nurtures and parents her kiddos differently, and it's in those differences that they learn from each other.  Let's link arms with other moms to walk through this beautiful season of motherhood together.

Are you a grandma, mom, or woman with extra love to share?  We've got an opportunity for you to get involved in a significant way.
We are looking for women available during the morning MOPS sessions to love on and play with the babies/toddlers of the Moms attending MOPS.  If you are interested and available, please contact Rachel Jones at .
