Mission Christmas has begun!Mission Christmas

FBP Kids

During the school year, we offer 3 main ministries to children: Bible study classes (Sunday School), AWANA, and Children’s Choirs/Music. We are now offering these ministries in multiple formats to meet the needs of our families during COVID.

First Visit

Are you preparing for your family’s first visit with us? Click here to find out what to expect your first Sunday with us.

Bible Study Classes (Sunday School) - Sundays @ 10:05 AM

We offer age-appropriate lessons and activities for children birth through 5th grade where they can explore the God who created them and how they can share His love with the world around them. It is our privilege to partner with our parents as they point their children to the Lord. We equip families with at-home discipleship tools which help them dig further into each week’s lesson in fun and exciting new ways.

For children under age 5, we offer Extended Teaching Care (ETC) during our Worship Gatherings at 9:00 AM and 11:15 AM. During ETC our youngest children take part in play-based learning activities that reinforce the week’s Bible lesson while their parents attend the Worship Gathering.

AWANA and Children's Music - Wednesdays 6:15PM-8:00pm

Our AWANA program is open to children age 2 through 6th grade. AWANA is a program which focuses on the doctrines of Salvation, God, Christ, Humanity, and Sin. It is a scripture memory-based curriculum which adds progressively to a child’s working knowledge of scripture each year they participate in the program. Children work through one book per year and, upon completion of their handbook, earn an award. The Children’s Music Ministry provides preschoolers through fifth graders with opportunities to learn to use their heart, mind, body and voice to make music in praise and worship to God. Preschoolers focus on music skills and biblical foundation, while K-5th grade will prepare to participate in our Celebrate Christmas concert and a musical in the spring.

For the safety of our children, we require all families to use our secure check-in system when dropping off and picking up children. If you are not familiar with secure check-in systems, please let us know upon arrival and we will be happy to help. During COVID, our teachers will check families in to limit contact with the computer keyboards and screens.
