DISCOVERY KIDS Volunteer Training | in The Hub or on Zoom
{There will be 3 identical training sessions, you will only need to choose 1 to attend.}
First meeting - Thursday, August 25 @ 6:30 PM
Second meeting - Sunday, August 28 @ 6:30 PM
Third meeting - Wednesday, August 31 @ 6:30 PM
This is a training for all current, new and prospective Sunday morning Discovery Kids workers!
Items to be covered in training:
*What is Discovery Kids and how should it work?
*Procedural information (taking attendance, arrival/dismissal, schedule, etc.)
*How-To (DVD & TV, locating your lesson plans ahead of time, etc.)
*Lesson & Activity expectations (how to implement the lessons)
*Finding a sub
*Emergency Procedures
