Events

The Student Ministry exists to guide students toward maturity in Christ through weekly worship gatherings, Bible study, and discipleship opportunities. We also have regular ministry events for fellowship and outreach.

SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE | Come at 9:30 AM and leave at NOON - Join us for Bible Study and Worship!

9:30 AM - Modern Worship (Worship Center) & Student Bible Study (Middle School in Room 3104; High School in Room 3103)

10:30 AM - Enjoy some Community Time as we hang out in the Alcove

11:00 AM - Classic Worship (Worship Center) & Student Bible Study (room 3103 in FBP Students corner).

Make Sure You're Coming to Bounce Night!

Meet at the church from 3:30-5:30 to hang out, jump around on some inflatables and obstacle courses, and learn more about our Summer Mission Trip from David Scott, the Director of BOUNCE.

Please note, the bounce houses are for the student ministry, HOWEVER if you are an adult interested in attending Bounce this summer, there is an information presentation about the trip that begins at 4:15 p.m. this same evening. You are encouraged to attend the presentation to learn important details about the event.

Spring Supper and Dessert Auction Tickets are ON SALE NOW

Spring Supper & Dessert Auction tickets will be available to sell and purchase NOW! The event takes place on Sunday, March 8 from 5:00-7:00 PM. We need your support to make this fundraiser a success! We need students to collect and sell tickets, prepare and bring one or two desserts to sell at the auction, and to set up and serve the day of the event. If you want more information on how your student can participate, please reach out to one of the Student Ministry leaders.

All funds received from desserts will go directly toward the accounts of students who brought the desserts. Funds received from additional donated desserts will be designated to students' accounts who are serving at the event. There will also be a "tip jar" for guests to contribute to, which will be evenly distributed to the accounts of all students who serve at the event. Proceeds from ticket sells this year will go directly towards the First Baptist Plano Scholarship Fund which is awarded to graduating students who continue their education. Thank you for your participation and support!

In addition to weekly activities, we also have occasional events each year, including mission trips, camps, DNOW, and more.
