REGISTRATION
The cost is $10 per person and includes a box dinner. There is also childcare, with dinner included, available for children through elementary. Additionally, FBP Students will meet that evening, starting at 6:30 p.m., while the Parent Summit is underway.

Healthy Technology UseTablets, phones, and screens - oh my! Raising children whose lives are saturated by a digital and technological landscape comes with its challenges, and it's not always clear to parents what those challenges even are or what the ramifications might be. Dr. David Sanchez will present to parents a better understanding of what that landscape looks like for their kids, how to establish good boundaries with technology use, and how to disciple their children into mature Christians who have a healthy relationship with technology that honors the Lord. |

Planting Seeds of FaithIn her session, Planting Seeds of Faith, Dr. Melia will emphasize the importance of home discipleship. Parents will get an overview of important milestones in a child’s spiritual development, as well as implementable practices for discipling their children in the home. |

She will address key strategies to assist parents in navigating their child’s emotional growth in a healthy and positive way. |

Jenna Mountain, Ph.D., L.P.C., C.S.T Aspen Haus Associates, LLC Dr. Jenna Mountain is the co‑owner of Aspen Haus Associates, a collaborative practice in Richardson, Texas focused on leadership and relationship coaching, trauma recovery, and healing from difficult life experiences. She began her academic journey in engineering and architecture before shifting her focus to people, relationships, and emotional health—bringing that unique blend of analytical and relational insight into her work today. Jenna is a relationship‑informed trauma specialist and a trauma‑informed relationship and sex expert. |

Essential Faith Practices in the HomePracticing faith as a family is an important piece of the discipleship process and the spiritual development of children. In this breakout session, Dr. Irene Gallegos will present practical and creative ways that parents can introduce and lead different spiritual disciplines in the home with their children from pre-teens to high school seniors.

Irene Gallegos, Ph.D. Texas Christian Life Commission Dr. Gallegos serves as the Director for Hunger & Care Ministries for the CLC. After graduating from Dallas Baptist University with a B.S. in Biology, she earned a Masters in Public Health and a Ph.D. in Health Studies. She contributes a unique blend of community health practice, finance and accounting, and ministry experiences. Mentally Healthy KidsWe know the mental health of our children is important. However, we don’t always know how to help our children have good mental health. Carrie’s information today will be a 30,000 foot view of mental health and how we as parents can have a positive impact for our children. |

Carrie Cravens, M.S., L.C.S.W Beacon of Light Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Program Manager for Beacon of Light Mental Health, with more than 20 years of experience across private practice, medical, church, and nonprofit settings. She is trained in human development, mental health conditions, and multiple therapy modalities, and she loves educating others about mental health, relationships, and compassionate care. As a lifelong Christian, pastor’s wife, and church leader, she supports others through a blend of faith and evidence‑based practice. Carrie and her husband John, a student pastor, have three young adult children and an energetic golden retriever. |
